The CropBase software program is made up of seven modules. These modules offer different functions to help track and trace your crops and are available for blackcurrents and other crops. See just what a difference the CropBase can make to your business.
The block data function allows you to create a block reference table of your property. Whether blocks are spread throughout the country or you have one block locally, CropBase allows you to input all your crop information including end use. Display blocks by name, number of rows, crop area, planted date, retired date, harvest date, variety, size and row length – a flexible system that allows you to instantly track crop varieties and locality. Record and estimate key dates, calculate plantings on a new block and predict crop yields. There is also the allowance for processors or stakeholders to view limited information.
Whether it be mowing, pruning, weeding, irrigation or putting nets on or off, keep tabs on the completed and work-to-do jobs with the activities diary. This allows you to monitor what tasks you are doing within each season, and when you are doing them - a great resource to plan and evaluate.
The spray diary allows you to manage your spray regime while still meeting market standards. You can see where your spray is stored, calculate how much you will need, create job sheets for application and check if you comply with market regulations. It allows you to keep an inventory of all sprays and keep historical records of what you sprayed, where you sprayed – all accessed at the click of a button.
There are more than 250 products loaded, which are reviewed as required for application requirements and export standards. Spray rules are live and reviewed seasonally or as required, so you know you are meeting the latest industry rules. There is also the allowance for processors or stakeholders to view limited information in this module.
The fertiliser diary allows you to calculate fertiliser rates and nutrient ratios, plan when you want the work to happen and create job sheets for staff or contractors. It takes all the hard work out of planning and allows you to compare your fertilising schedule from year to year.
Get an overview of your whole business with CropBase reports – a handy tool to review your whole, or selected portions of, your business. The comprehensive software allows you to view in-depth reports about your whole, or selected parts, of your operation including; seasonal activities, spray tracking, spray queries, spray history, harvest, container reconciliations and spray products.
As well as the seven base modules, we are also developing three supplementary modules which will extend your CropBase programme and enhance its capabilities. These are:
